The Department of Architecture, Construction and Design of SUPSI organized, in collaboration with the Conference Technical Associations of the Canton Ticino, an event on Building Information Modeling (BIM) with the aim to stimulate a discussion on the important role of BIM in the future of the construction industry. The event brought information, testimonials and experiences ranging from international best practice up to the cantonal context concluding with a roundtable and open discussion between the speakers and the participants. The event has reported an important participation of about 200 people involving all the stakeholders of the construction industry among which clients, public and private, architects, engineers, construction companies and students.
