The Department for Environment, Construction and Design and the Institute for Applied Sustainability to the Built Environment of SUPSI organize, in the context of the European research project ConstructPV, an event for students, architects and other interested stakeholders in order to stimulate a discussion on the important role of solar energy in buildings. SUPSI, UNStudio and Ed Züblin AG will participate at the event presenting their international experiences. UNStudio, a dutch architectural firm with over 25 years of international experience, will illustrate the leitmotif that guides its projects where sustainability is an integral part of the design process. Ed Züblin AG., project coordinator and one of the largest German construction companies, will present new developments in building construction related to BIPV by also considering the practical aspects for innovative facade systems.
